At first Tres Lunas needs a delicate touch, a bit like learning to pilot a new kind of flying machine. At time you will float like a seed on the breeze. Other times you will rocket at the speed of light. Do not be put off if it takes you a few hours to be comfortable with the controls.

There are only two controls, a standard two button mouse, and the space bar. Press the left mouse button to go forwards, the right button to stop. A further press of the right mouse button will put you into reverse. There is not a specific objective to Tres Lunas, only to experience all the different music, mood changes, colours, journeys, animals, geometric shapes, rewards, punishments and lessons in taking responsibility for your own personal trip through the Tres Lunas universe.

As you travel around, you will notice that you stop in front of certain objects. Usually, this puts you into study mode, where you can rotate around the object and look at it from all angles. Sometimes in these zones, you will pick up objects or creatures that you can then throw or release by pushing the space bar. Not all these objects are good, and what you can do with them is very specific. Be careful with what you do with each object, it may set you back to the beginning or worse.

The basic way to advance through the levels of Tres Lunas, is to find and accumulate gold rings, this will change the music that you hear. Be careful though ! Because sometimes having too many rings can stop your progress and you will have to give some away. Sometimes, you will take control of creatures or objects as if by telekinesis. Then you can fly them , and sometimes be expected to arrange them in their proper place. You can park them by holding the right mouse button and pressing the space bar.

The maximum number of rings that you can find is 7, and that will take you through to the end, but remember, that you have probably missed many experiences in your hurry to get through, so it is well worth going back to the beginning and starting again. Sometimes, creatures or objects will take you on a journey. When this happens you will be tethered to the object, so the best thing to do is to use the mouse to follow and see where you are going. At the end of these trips, you will always have a means to return to reality. Tres Lunas can not be completed in 30 minutes. So relax, enjoy. Chill out !...
